Goodbye All-In-One-SEO Plugin And Hello Platinum SEO

I’ve finally totally given up on the All in one SEO plugin.  The new plugin of my choice by experience is Platinum SEO for Wordpress. The differences are few, but I’ve found Platinum SEO to be better to work with due to automatic 301 redirects for permalink changes, auto-generation of META tags, post slug optimization, help in avoiding duplicate content and a host of other features that All in one SEO lacks.

The latest upgrade of All in one SEO forced you to optin to an email list, which was the drop of water that broke the dam for me.  I had already been installing Platinum SEO on my new blogs but I left All in one SEO on the older ones because they were similar enough that it wasn’t technically worth the hassle.

Way to go All in one SEO, you just became a hassle big enough to warrant being traded out.

I’m aware there are lots of plugins for SEO, and apparently the one called wpSEO is one of the strongest ones with the most options, but for my wordpress blogs (which aren’t few) the Platinum SEO plugin is getting the job done. But Platinum SEO be advised, if you ever become a hassle like All in one did, you’ll be traded out too!
